Housing Estate. East London 2009 -

One of the largest CCTV providers in the country, having installed a housing estate-wide system for a Housing association client were unable to get the feeds back to the control suite as the groundworks had not been correctly implemented prior to the site handover. Their quote was for £100k of works to dig up the road and lay in the cables across the estate. As this was not an option, they were unable to assist the client further. DRI, using our knowledge of Microwave Link technology, were able to achieve the clients requirements for just 10% of that figure, all achieved within 2 weeks, and with no loss of functionality over a hard wired installation. The system is still working in a stable fashion to this date.
